You can take a train and Nasik Road is the station , from there you can book private cabs like Ola Uber. It will take almost 45 min ( depends on traffic ) for the 25kms.

You can travel to Raipur on a train from there and then travel on a bus or train from there to chitrakot.

First you need to travel to koraput , you can take an overnight bus and after you reach in the morning you can take either bus or train to bastar where chirtakoot is situated Alternatively you can also take a train direct to Bastar and visit Chitrakoot

You can take the flight from Kolkata or either Chennai. Most flights have a lay over at those airports.

You can explore Kotagiri near ooty. You can read further about Kotagiri in my Blog, https://www.tripoto.com/trip/motorbike-road-trip-to-kotagiri-5a8ce0501ef96 I suggest that you can spend more time in Kotagiri than in Ooty since Ooty is very crowded now.
