How you learnt photography while working? How you managed your time?

Passion. Once you have passion inside you for something it is easier to do what you like and for managing time you have to manage it, there's no solid solution for it, everyone manages their time and does what they have to. In the beginning for few days you have push yourself to go out and shoot but gradually it will become a natural habit. Understand each concept and experiment accordingly, go shoot! and follow great photographers to stay inspired.

I learnt photography because I used to enjoy it.
I use to go out almost every day when I started photography. Everyday I used to carry two bags, laptop and camera.
I used to shoot 6-8 am in the morning, leave for the office n reach by 9 am.
at 6-7 pm I used to get back to home and start editing pictures.

I don't watch much now, I used to watch basic photography tutorials alot 2-3 years back but I hardly get time to watch now.

UpvoteCommentIt depends on your budget, I would suggest buy a crop sensor if it is your first camera, if you have crop already dn buy full frame (Nikon D750) Lens you can take good travel photos with kit lens 24-120 as well, you can buy 50mm, 70-200mm in future whenever it is in the budget.
UpvoteCommentMidhun, I take my own photography tours, I sell my pictures online, I do commercial shoots as well. I started shooting weddings in 2013, my first project and when i got a good experience I started doing all commercial shoots.

AnswerWishlistAlways shoot in RAW and Manual mode, learn how to expose a picture, composition you will learn with experience. but once you know the light condition and you know how to expose picture you will always get a good picture.

Hello Yatika, before clicking I process in my mind, I always close my eyes (hehe) imagine it n shoot it. I always look for good focus, no distractions in the background and foreground, lovely colors and emotions in the picture

UpvoteCommentIgnore above message, for instagram you need to have good personalisation skills as well, more you interact with people more people will follow you and more engagements you will have.
Just posting photos on the feed and liking other photographers doesn't help now. so need to invest a lot of time on Instagram everyday to make it more interactive. best wishes

9-5 doesn't even matter.. its just 8 hours. What you do with the remaining 16 hours that's totally up to you..If you want to start photography obviously you can. Baby Steps.

Raj, you need to get out from your comfort zone, it is not something which is not possible. we can take out time 1-2 hours everyday and go out n shoot something. It is a good part time career option and for college students it is the best therapy :)

AnswerWishlistHello Ashish, you need to have a good portfolio, good amount of photography experience. Good amount of contacts/name, you can later organise photography tours for photographers and earn from it. or you can get in to travel job as well, whenever there is a hiring in any travel magazine (lonely planet etc)
