Sapna, it depends on person to person, there is many people who wants to get published in the National Geographic once in their life, there are people who want to work with Natgeo, so it is very personal choice about milestone.
Other dn Instagram you can upload pictures on Flickr, 500px and Yourshot (natgeo) they are less interactive but amazing platforms for photographers.

Hello Shivang, there are two streams one is full time traveller, other one is full time travel photographer.
If you want to me traveller dn you have to just keep climbing, make good content on social media so people likes your work. One of my friend got sponsored for Everest base camp just because she used to hike a lot and use to publish pictures on Tripoto.
You need to start going out n make your strong portfolio.

Anchit, my focus was only into learning as I was working so I just wanted to learn and practice photography. It is important to focus on the photography only when you're starting your career. If you're good dn you will earn for sure.

I see so many talented photographers on social media which such an amazing eye.
But i am growing, I won one of the competition pan India in 2013 that is when I started feeling yes I can be a good photographer one day, dn in 2015 I took my own photography tour dn I realised I can earn in photography, in 2016 one of my picture got published in Nat Geo, I felt really good. in 2017 I was one of the finalist in the Nature Photographer of the year by Nat Geo dn I realised I can count myself in international platform, in 2018 I sold my picture to National Geographic so I am growing. :)

You can choose Nikon D5200 or Nikon D5300 with 18-140mm lens, later you can invest in a extra lens 50mm 1.8G this will complete your kit for atleast 1-2 years (your learning stage)

Hello Dhondu, good to see you here.
I am not really sure, may be life would've been really different and better. But what I get to hear from other professional photographers who are full time into photography and who left their jobs, they always say that I took a good decision and did not quit my job. Plus I had my reasons also for not to quitting my job :)
Upvote (1)CommentHello Anchit, I got my first DSLR in 2012 and since dn I am shooting almost twice a week. When I was new into photography it was like 3-4 days a week. My growth took more time if you compare to others who are into full time photography but I was happy with it because of my working schedule. at least I am managing it from past 6 years and happy to continue always :)
UpvoteCommentSmruti, you need to spend more time on the field, observe good thing. If you're in to street, you need to shoot alot of it everyday and dn you will be able to see things differently.
also post processing is also important.

I always say photography is all about practice and how much time time you spend in the field. also you need to know the basic compositions of photography, a picture with a good composition is always a good picture. Also just capturing a moment is not everything, you need to make it look beautiful with color correction, dodge burn and other thing in the post processing.

Hello Anil, Lightroom mobile is good for mobile phones. and to some extent it is good but if some one is doing manipulation dn it is not a photography it is an digital art, or manipulated art. It is totally fine with me if people wants to manipulate their photos, that's their choice and it is totally fine as they are giving it a name 'Art' not 'Photography'.
Dodging/Burning, cropping, color correction, vignetting, color change they all we used to do when we used to shoot in films and they are acceptable as well. so if someone is doing it in limits dn its fine Best wishes :)

Hello. I also edit and mount photos and video files. When I prepared my portfolio to work, I used Movavi https://www.movavi.com/. I prefer this online editor for a photo and video, because it is easy to learn, but with professional ability to edit. There is a wide range of possibilities for each taste. Therefore, you can edit your photo as you want, it all depends on your goals.
UpvoteComment (1)Hello Ranadeep, for beginners it is a nice camera you should go for it with a kit lens 18-55mm lens, later you can invest in another lens 50mm 1.8 and shoot with these combo. I also started with a crop sensor camera with two lenses.

Hello Pulkit, one thing to remember photography is same like any other profession/degree. You need to give time, you need to practice daily for 2-3 years (same like what you do in college, you study everyday for 2-3 years dn you get a degree).
so my suggestion will be to keep doing it. Do not stop. Photography is all about practice and how much time you spent on the field. Best wishes.

Hello Prateek, you MUST visit Gulmarg in winters, Prashar in December end, Munnar in Dec or January, Spiti in June, Ladakh in July. There are so many amazing places, my personal favorite is Spiti in June, and Vrindavan during holi festival.

Hello Kalhaar, it's really nice that you have 18 EF on national geographic. I don't think there are any tips or tricks to get published in yourshot, if you have a good picture they will like it and feature it on their platform. Just your caption should be good enough to explain them what is happening in the picture.

Hello Lakshya, good to see you here. I have never used Huawei. If you have a budget of 30-35k dn Oneplus in that budget is amazing. I personally don't prefer mobile phones for low light photography, reason being it has a small sensor so you cannot get rid of noise. You can shoot good pictures using manual mode from Oneplus as well as Samsung but they both will be for social media only.
Still if you have to compare two brands and pricing I feel OnePlus has an edge. :) best wishes.
