There are buses available to koh samui. Ferry is available to travel to koh samui from Phuket. Another way is booking a cab. So as you get down in Phuket, at cab booking Center you will get the info. Also check with Thrillophilia.

Visit Sidh baba ka mandir There is a cricket ground to play the game Though not much shopping is done chail bazaar is one place to stop by for rugs, carpets and woollen wears. Himalayan national park is a day trip to be done from chail.
