The valley can be approached from two towns: Zakhama and Viswema. Zakhama is about 20 kilometers from Kohima, and Viswema about 25 kilometers from Kohima.
Hi Pratiyush, Realistically speaking there is no need to upload full size images in Tripoto. As long as the clarity isnt reduced (pixelated) it should be fine. Images you upload in Tripoto are for information, its not intended for printing. I hope my answer is satisfactory.
Hey Pratiyush, Guess you are opening those images in your Tripoto app after publishing ... Try opening the same in a desktop... And it also take some time to get uploaded and get clear ... I have experienced same and no need to worry about that ... An image of mine was 8mb and I could upload 5 or 6 of them altogether ... Happy Blogging and Happy Travelling Bro!!!
Hi Prajakta, yes, you will need permit to visit the Nathula pass which can be obtained from the Tourism Department and Police Check post. International Tourists are not allowed beyond Tsomgo Lake.
Hey Prajakta, Permission can be availed through your your tour operator as the permits are must and you also need to book a cab to visit nathula pass ... And as in the month of February, nathula gets a lot of snowfall, the permission is issue sometimes ... If your your operator gets it then you can visit , or else no ... As you might pre book you stay, the hotel guys would confirm you about permits and if you can visit or not ... Happy Travelling !!!
Hey Nikhil, In the app, click on option 'see all' in front of heading "Oppurtinities for All". if it is still not opening then go to your setiings->Application manager->Tripoto->Set as default ->Go to supperted URLs. change it to always ask. Then try again the first process.
Hey Prajakta, Yes you can visit North Sikkim in Feb. But visit to Gurudongnar lake will depend on the weather conditions of that day. After reaching cafe 15000 (army cafe. Entry to Paradise path of lake),army mans will tell whether you can go further or not.
If you travel (choose to ride) on Mumbai Goa high-way , towards Goa , you will find many such villages in the konkan region of Maharashtra , I still have the mud-house in my native on this highway, not sure if the women still use well for waters . The only problem visiting such villages is that, there are network issues. Like my native has only BSNL tower and that too range keeps coming and going .

*Auli to Valley of Flowers is not an entirely motor able route. The motorable journey starting from Auli comes to an end at Govindghat. It is 36 km long, and you can go via bus, hire a private taxi or take your vehicle. En route, you will cross holy place Joshimath.
*Entry to Valley of Flowers opens at 7.00 am every day and last entry is allowed till 2.00 pm. You should start back around 1 pm so as to reach back by 5.00 pm. Though the Valley is beautiful in May, June and September. But for maximum number of flowers in July and August are most preferred months.
*The Valley of flowers is enveloped in cradle of the majestic Himalayas and hence it is one of the best places to admire these mighty “guards”. The mountains surrounding Valley of Flowers also border China and Nepal, while it also flanked by the incredible Zanskar and other Great Himalayan Peaks from all sides.
*It is not so difficult trek. The valley of flowers trek is well-defined and well paved. Although it is steep at many places, but except the day you go for trek to valley itself you can hire pony to reduce the difficulty level of the trek. Valley of flowers trek difficulty level is moderate to easy.
*I just checked online and found that there are some great travel deals available at tripoto itself, do check out this link 🖇️
