HeyAj, I don't suggest you to visit Kaza now ... As entire lahaul and spiti valley districts are suffering snow fall and connectivity has been blocked ... Better to wait for a while or just have a check with HRTC to know if buses are plying from manali to kaza, as the shimla to kaza route will be closed for may be next 3months .. . Happy Travelling Bro!!!

Hey Padmini, If you stay in Delhi, there are endless options for a budget friendly, relaxing holiday. My top picks are Shoghi (near Shimla), Kalga in Parvati Valley, Jibhi near Manali and Binsar in Uttarakhand. You could also explore budget-friendly packages on Tripoto!

Hello Pratik, I will be happy to answer your travel queries from my experiences 😊 . *you have chosen a perfect time to visit these hillstations .yes, you can cover harsil ,chopta and auli in 5 days this is because all these places are near and can be travelled easily . distance between harsil and chopta is 270 kms and would take 9 hours to travel with amazing views and further chopta to auli is 148 kms and would take 6 hours approx . *orelse you can travel to joshimath from chopta , distance is 135 kms and would take 5 hours .and from joshimath you can book ropeway till auli ,which is one of the largest one of India. *I hope you travel by your own vehicle or with a driver for more free journey so that if you see any good place ,you can bring some changes to your plans . *having a small suggestion for you , I just checked and found that there are some really amazing travel deals available for auli at tripoto itself , please go through this links https://www.tripoto.com/auli/tour-packages HAPPY TRAVELLING 😊

5 days is a nice period for visiting these places. make a fixed itinerary for the same.

Darjeeling in December is a bad choice .. provided you like the cold and chilly weather Manali will be cold as well. Rest 2 places weather is manageable .
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hey Sharwari, I personally think you should separate Darjeeling from this list and treat it as a singular destination as it's actually quite far from Himachal Pradesh. Considering you're travelling by your own vehicle, you could follow this itinerary: Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali (8 - 9 hours journey) Day 2: Stay in Manali Day 3: Stay in Manali for another day or skip it (totally upto how you want your vacation to be) Day 4: Manali to Shimla(7 - 8 hours journey), explore Shimla Day 5: Shimla to Kalpa, your first village of Kinnaur (7 hours) Day 6: Kalpa to Chitkul, 2nd village of Kinnaur (2.5 hours) Day 7: Chitkul to Shimla (7-8 hours) Day 8: Shimla to Chandigarh (3.5 hours)

Keep a budget atleast upto 14000 per person

Hey Krishna, A 4-day trip to Parvati Valley costed me 5500. Expect to shell out 7-8k for a 5-day trip. You can definitely cut down expenses by staying in hostels/budget hotels, travelling by local buses and by not visiting expensive cafes.

The best Adventure you can get would be to ride :- Chandigarh - Manali - Tandi - Dharamshala -Mcleodganj - Kasol - Shimla - Chandigarh ... This can be the best and safe Adventure road trip you can take in this month end dude .. .. Happy Travelling Bro!!!

Nathula pass, changu lake, and you can travel this two place which is ahead of ganktok and can also visit M. G market it's a very good place and yungthang, its actually in other side of ganktok where you should start from newjalpieguri. Backdogra is a beautiful place it's in the sikkim and Bhutan border, a market is also there which is actually a part of Bhutan and u can visit there casually. Its the place where Indian people and Bhutan peoples can visit.

There are many, depending on the time and budget. South Asian destinations like Bali, Cambodia or if time is not a constraint may be South America , Peru and Chile .

First, you visit Munnar and explore Munnar for atleast 2-3 days. Then on the way to Coorg, stop at Wayanad. There is a lot to see in Wayanad, the green covered lush hills and the breath taking views from the hills. It's a perfect stop for a nature lover and you'll definitely love it. Then you head towards Coorg and experience the beauty of Coorg. And then head towards Uduppi and enjoy the west coast. Then to your destination, Bangalore. Start the journey from South to North and travel along the Ghats to experience the beauty. Have a good travel :)

Hey Saaquib, Instead of fretting over planning your trip, why don't you check some packages on Tripoto that are pre-planned? I have attached some of them. Hope they can be of use to you :)

Take all the documents of your bike (or copy) because the Police keeps checking bikes, especially interstate bikes. Try to avoid night ride. Reasons 1. It gets so cold at night. 2. Safety at some parts of the state, and reckless truck drivers at night. Daytime is fine for your journey. Keep in mind it also gets hot in daytime coz it's Chennai :) Have a safe ride :)

Camel valley, Tringalwadi fort, Kulangadd are some good places to visit here. You can try OYO rooms, which is a lot cheaper and have a lot of amenities. Better than most hotels.
