Yes and No, depends on a couple of factors which are like getting into the semantics. however one can take info from the locals and other at Shimla before proceeding further towards Narkanda, as roads are cleared as soon as the snow falls but caution is advised. Your drivers experience and luck counts too !

UpvoteCommentSingapore is an ideal budget travel destination for first time international travel. If you could club it with Malaysia then it is a whole trip. Thailand is another budget spot, where you can cover Bangkok and Phuket based on number of travelling days. Indonesia is a lovely spot where you can cover Bali, Java, Sumatra at a nominal rate. Nepal and Bhutan are great places for first time international travel where you can cover paro, imphal and Kathmandu. My first international trip four years ago was to Singapore where we clubbed Malaysia and covered many places. Kindly check the COVID travel rules and restrictions before booking and travelling.

Punjab share its border with Himachal pradesh & jammu and Kashmir. shimla, manali, solan, dalhousi, khajiar , dharamshala, etc. place quite close to Punjab.

Armenia, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Sri Lanka.

Dalhousie is known as little Switzerland of India which is more of meadows, jungles and waterfalls. To visit you could explore, Kalatop sanctuary, satdhara falls, rock garden, shop at Indo Tibetan market and pray at Chamunda devi temple. There are adventure sports like, trekking, mountain climbing which you could enroll if you have the time. Khajjiar is 20km away from Dalhousie which is an adventure spot popular fir zorbing, horse gliding and golfing. Khajjiar lake, khajji nag temple, Tibetan handicraft shopping are some places to visit. Homestays here are best ways to explore the whole town. Mcleodganj is a spiritual town near Dharamshala filled with mesmerising landscapes and lush greenery. Bhagsu falls, Namgyal monaster, Dal lake, shopping at Buddhist markets, Kangra fort, Tibetan museum are some spots to visit. Being an adventure spot, trekking, camping, paragliding are some sports to try.

There are lot of offbeat, unexplored hiking spots in India who offer picturesque views, unknown valleys to look into. Phuktal monastery gives you stunning views of new side of Ladakh and Zanskar. Mandani valley near Rishikesh is where you get to see lovely flora and fauna. The Bhrigu lake trek called as pool of God's on Kullu valley is a lovely weekend trek spot.
