Hello Swamy, if you are in Goa you will get scooty in cheap rates anywhere, the good thing is you can bargain, If you are going solo you can stay at hostels, If in group you can share the hotel rents, I will recommend you to live at beach shacks for experience.

I would suggest go via Air. It cost you almost same plus you will reach Goa in 2 hours only.
UpvoteCommentHello Kapil Thivim is best if you want to stay in North Goa. Karamalli station is also there. But not all trains stops here. Many tourists get down at Madgaon station and head to North Goa by cab as it's the main junction.

Hampta Pass trek-

Triund trek - This trek starts from Mcleodganj go via Mana village, stop at Kangra valley, face dhauladhar mountains, enjoy the alpine meadows, and get back to Mcleodganj. It's a 2 day trek. Beas kund trek - This trek starts from old Manali, via jogni falls, visit solang valley, bakartach dhundhi reach solang valley back and return back to Manali. It's a 4 day trek. Kasol trek- It starts from Kasol town, via Grahan nahal stop over at Grahan village and Min thatch to admire Chanderkhani ranges and return back to Kasol. It's a 3 day trek. April month marks the start of tourist season in Ladakh. Day 1 jagnnath temple darshn and prasad( puri jagnnath temple's prasad has it's significance so make a point to have it it is available on payment)
Evening visit Gundicha temple during Rath yatra bagwan reside in this temple for 10 days.

October to March is neither a hot season nor a chill season in Andaman. They are dry, so you get to see lot of nature. It's an ideal time to visit Andaman.

Of course between Oct and March, if you are looking for a budget tour, plan during the period between Dushera and Diwali (Oct) which is generally lean season for hotels so they offer at cheaper rate, plan in advance to book cheaper flights.
