Hi Pratyaksha, I have just returned from Himachal Pradesh so I am going to be biased towards it and tell you to choose Himachal Pradesh for this trip. The scenery is gorgeous, the temperature is pleasant, the food is tasty and the people are extremely warm and friendly. However to take a more objective call on where you want to go, I recommend that you check out the following compilation pages: 1) Himachal Pradesh: https://www.tripoto.com/himachal-pradesh 2) Kashmir : https://www.tripoto.com/search?keywords=kashmir Hope this helps! According to the new rules, you do need the epass for traveling to himachal from different states.

Hi Sankalp, I have just come back from Himachal Pradesh. You do require an e-Pass to enter HP. It only takes a few minutes to apply for it online. https://covidregistration.hp.gov.in/applications/epass/apply Happy traveling. Regards, Senneil

The coastal line is the best route. I've heard the mangalore-goa road trip is one of the best ones in India. So I would recommend goa-gokarna-mangalore-kozhikode-kochi. There's a place called nedungad just a few kilometres north of kochi. Do visit that one if you're following this route. Happy journey ✌🏻

Check if Kaza has had snowfall, in case it has you might have trouble going to Kaza. Follow Devilonwheels, he usually keeps updating the road situation in Ladakh and Spiti valleys

Hi Harikrishnan, Since you are travelling within Karnataka itself I do not think you will face any restrictions due to Covid. However the Covid situation is continuously changing so please check the official government website the day before you leave. Also since you are traveling solo my personal suggestion would be to live in a homestay so that you can get local recommendations from the homestay owners as well as have a truly authentic Chikmaglur experience. Here is a nice list of homestays that I found: https://www.tripoto.com/chikmagalur/trips/these-homestays-in-chikmangalur-are-home-away-from-home-5abe03f6e4291 Hope this helps!

Hi Harikrishnan, if you are fully vaccinated, it's better to have that certificate handy, things change frequently due to covid, so better be prepared. Have idea about how to get covid test done if required Happy traveling

Hi, Both option are suitable however taking a Bus from Shimla to Manali (Kullu) is budget friendly. AC bus services operating between Shimla & Manali by HRTC so it will be a good idea. From Narkanda to reach Shimla you can avail any share taxi or cabs operating daily. Hiring cabs will cost you around 5k+ one way however BUS will cost max 1k . So you can take decision according to your need. Timing will not vary much Cab may take 5-6 hours where as Bus may take additional 2 hours. Hope above information will help in planning your next road trip Thank You See You on the Road...👌👌

Sreya, you can take a cab visit narkanda. There is an HP tourism hotel in Narkanda stay there the night. The next morning you can go to kullu via rampur and Jalori pass. It's a small road and will take time, however if you haven't been there it's a very pretty way
