Hello, You can start it from Omkareshwar and close it at Omkareshwar, which I too did on Bike. However many people do it from Amarkntak to Amarkantak. Also some people start as per their convenient nearby home location and close it there. If you are doing it by own Vehicle, just keep it in mind that the Vehicle needs to be handed over to someone to cross the river near Bharuch. At its unison point near Vamleshwar you need to take boats only to cross the river and reach Mithitalai. The person can hand over your Vehicle at Mithitalai. Do update if you need a complete route map by road? I can share the route I took during my Narmada Parikrama. Hope the information will help in planning your next spiritual road trips Thank You See You on the Road...👌👌

Hi Shaumya, I personally find Rishikesh a safe place for solo women travelers. Your best option would be Zostel dorm, it is right on the main road which also has in-house restaurant. You can also check this link for everything you need to know to plan your trip to Rishikesh- https://www.tripoto.com/rishikesh Hope this helps. Happy traveling!

Hi Punjab has no restriction on intrastate travel as per latest guidelines issued subject to producing either fully vaccinated certificate or negative RTPCR. The ban on Wagah Border public viewing was lifted on September 15 with a cap on number of visitors, maximum 300 visitors allowed to enter the retreat venue. Until few days back they were allowing to view from a distance of 1km from the Zero line. Latest Covid Guidelines can be found here: https://cdn.s3waas.gov.in/s3c3992e9a68c5ae12bd18488bc579b30d/uploads/2021/09/2021092022.pdf Regarding your question about private taxi, from where you want to take taxi? Charges may vary depending on location from where you taking it. Hope above information will help you in planning your next road trip Thank You See You on the Road...👌👌

Hi Geeta, In my opinion you do not need a guide to visit Kanyakumari. Most places are nearby and at walkable distance. At most you can take a rickshaw from one place to other. Check out this link to know all about Kanyakumari - https://www.tripoto.com/kanyakumari Hope this helps.

Funny how south indians are taking trips to himachal, and here you are doing the opposite 😂 Btw, I'm from chennai, and I don't think there's any specific times when kanyakumari shines out. You can just visit whenever you want. It's not a seasonal destination. Happy Journey ✌🏻
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Geeta, Kanyakumari can be visited year round there is no specific season. However avoid summer months as it gets extremely hot, winter is the best time to visit as it will be pleasant.

You have to reach to Rishikesh or Haridwar from your destination, which is Jaipur as you said.you can travel by road till Gorikund .After wards you can trek .This is a 14 kilometer trek from Gorikund to Kedarnath
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
From jaipur you can board a train till haridwar or rishikesh. there are plenty of buses in the morning to sonprayag from haridwar and rishikesh both. if one does not get a bus to sonprayag then catch a bus till rudraprayag from there shared jeep to sonprayag. After reaching sonprayag there are shared maxi cab which charges 20rs. till gaurikund which is the last motorable road. From gaurikund one can trek 16 kms to reach kedarnath. hope this answer helps you in planning your trip.
