Is it suitable to visit Gokarna in the month of September?

Hi Yashwanth,
Like all beach destinations, the monsoons will make Gokarna's beaches unpleasant. However during this season the Western Ghats are beautiful with greenery at its full bloom. And there are many treks into the Western Ghats that you will be able to enjoy at this time.

Monsoon season in Gokarna is from June to September. Monsoon is usually off season. Monsoon rains will be quite heavy and that might make travel and sightseeing plans difficult. Best time to visit Gokarna would definitely be from October to March, when there is pleasant and warm weather!!

Do I need RT/PCR test to travel to Dalhousie. I have completed 1st dose of Covi-Shield.

Yes, it is mandatory to carry an RT/PCR certificate. You should also carry your 1st dose certificate to avoid facing any further difficulties.

Like to start with a Disclaimer:- I am neither a Doctor nor this answer should be treated as medical advice. PLEASE CONSULT your pediatrician before making any decision. Answer:- Have seen people traveling Ladakh region with kids, my personal view is a big NO for infants or kids below 12 months. In this case you are asking about 1.5 year old baby. Well 12+ months babies usually respond to altitude and environment same as adults, babies above 3+months develops similar tolerance level like adults. So you can plan your travel but with utmost precaution as follows 1. CONSULT your pediatrician before making any decision
2. Keep food & liquid sufficiently and avoid outside food for baby 3. Once started increase number of stoppages 4. Altitude should be increased gradually for proper acclimatization
5. Remain adequately hydrated
6. Keep adequate winter clothes to protect the baby from cold
7. Due to clear sky, the sun rays are highly pinched, keep baby's soft skin protected from it 8. Avoid spending more time in high altitude area on way 9. Night stay at Pangong with baby a strict NO 10. Monitor weather forecasts and avoid getting sink in pahadi rain These above may help you in minimizing the risk factors, if at all you start your journey with kids, however a caution again YOU MUST Consult YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TAKING ANY decision

First and foremost if you are a foodie just hog on to the street foods. Rest you have plethora of places to visit. You can visit India Gate and pay homage to our martyrs, visit Red Fort, Lotus temple etc and enjoy a day packed with sight seeing. Do follow covid protocols that's most important.

Hi Tushar, You will need to carry an RTPCR negative certificate taken within 72hours if you are not vaccinated. If you can show a vaccination certificate you do not need to get your RTPCR done. UpvoteCommentHello, I recently crossed Rajasthan riding from Mountains to beaches (Uttarakhand to Goa) somewhere in 2nd week of August also spent a night at Udaipur. Though there is no restriction on interstate travel as per latest Guidelines issued by the state government if one produce 72 hrs prior Covid -ve report. Youu must download the Aarogya Setu app if entering to Rajasthan. Having said that they have some additional rules for Udaipur which required you to upload the RT PCR negative document to a govt site Link https://emitraapp.rajasthan.gov.in/emitraApps/covid19MovementService If you are traveling from Mumbai on road most probably you will get checked twice once somewhere near Shamlalji and again Just before Udaipur entry. Just before 20KM of Udaipur you can see a Dhaba named as Moti Mahal if entering from Ahmedabad side, have a halt here and let them know about you and from where you got the information and experience the magic :)

UpvoteCommentYes its safe to visit Goa now, I reached Goa on 15th August and currently traveling here. However the administrations is very strict on Negative RT PCR which you need to produce at entry points. They also setup antigen test lab at each entry point and conduct test before entry which is chargeable around Rs 250 or Rs 375 depending on which way you entering. Regarding stay option there are multiple budget hostels operating in GOA and almost all are open now a days. I stayed in a hostel at Vagator for 2 days before checking in to a rented room with kitchen as I had to stay little longer. Cost of hostel may vary from Rs 200 to Rs 500 per night stay. If you planning for a longer stay can look for rented private rooms available in range of Rs 6000 to Rs 10000 per month.
