Both stations are there in the rishikesh itself ... book tickets to any of them and you may reach rishikesh ... you may get a local auto for 50-100 bucks to your hotel anywhere in rishikesh after that ... RKSH is near TRIVENI GHAT ... YNRK is a little afar !

There is no permit required for triund trek just on checkpost on starting point put your name on register with ID. happy and safe trekking 👍

Uttarakhand is good for solo female traveller and trek. People and She teams there are really good they even help you in case of any emergency. But for a snow trek I'll recommend you to book a guide cuz you don't get hot food and hot water while on trek unless you have a local guide.

I suggest you go for group camping trip as it is completely safe and you can travel without any stress of deciding or planning the trip.
