The jeep can be booked at the official portal of Corbett National Park : https://www.corbettnationalpark.in/jeep-booking-corbett.htm You can also book the jeep through a travel agent. However, to book, you will first need to obtain a safari permit, without which you cannot enter the park.

Hi Shahid! There are two types of permits that are issued at Jim Corbett National Park. One is a day visit permit while the other is for accommodation at FRH. The day visit permit can be obtained at the entry gate of the respective zones ( 6 zones). The accommodation permit is issued at the reception office of Corbett Reserve Park in Ramnagar city. Both these permits can also be booked online. Except the Dhikala zone, all zones offer a permit for a day visit to the park. The permit can be got through official site of Jim Corbett. There are various zones at Corbett. select zone where you require permit. For dhikala zone, only jeep safari permit not available. Jeep safari at Dhikala possible only for persons who stay in forest rest houses. canter permit can be also booked online for Dhikala Day permits for other zones like Bijrani, Zirna etc can be booked online from official site, or any travel agent can help

Traveling Hampta pass would not be a safe and easy option in winters, Would recommend you to not to plan because in this season you will not be able to have permit as well as entry for going there is permitted, It's a huge block ways in between the ways , You will be able to visit till Solang valley & Gulaba , after that their are many restrictions. I would like to recommend you to go there after April or May

From Cochin Athirapally falls is just 80kms approx, Ur son can find lot of fun there & it is safe place also. Alappuzha Back waters will be amazing which is just 60kms from Cochin.
