Lansdowne is the gateway to Garhwal region and you can reach there via Kotdwar. It is a beautiful cantonment area and you'll easily get hotels and all.
We will enjoy our journey only when we reach to our destination safely...thinking about our safety is not nonsense i guess.. Its just a common sense to follow the instructions.
My friends and I took went on a bike trip from Gurgaon to Nainital. We completed the entire trip in 4 days. This included the travel from and to Gurgaon. The road trip is a great idea, however at this time of the year it could get very cold. We started on 29th Dec and the temperatures can get as cold as 6-7 degrees, if not lower. And it feels even colder when you're travelling on a bike. So I suggest that you layer up properly ! Also 7 days depends on what places you are planning to cover. Mussorie and places close by don't take 7 days to cover. Hope this helps. Happy travelling ! :)
Book your travel on your own. The travel agency trips are costly and in some cases don't let you spend the amount of time you would actually like. Booking on your own will help you choose the places and activities you are actually interested in and you also have flexibility to change in case you want to do something out of plan.

The first person you have to trust is yourself. Develop a deep, unbreakable bond with your outstanding abilities and your own self-vows and everything will be fine..I also been through a terrible accident last year while traveling ..But I think no accident can stop my travel desire ..😊
Be Careful Good Luck!!
If you hate crowd and love cold weather then you can visit in December and January. Mt abu is hill station in Rajasthan and mostly tourist from Gujarat and Rajasthan go there during summer ie may june . That time its very crowded and even hotels are more costly.

Hello swagata, I will be happy to answer your travel 🙂👍. for your query about Pune to Goa road tripdistance between Shimla and Goa is approx 500 kilometres and therefore can be covered in a day including a couple of stops for lunch and refreshments we believe the best way to get to Goa from Pune is via Kolhapur Amboli Ghat road though some of the hilly roads are a bit patchy the route is scenic and there are plenty of places to stop along the way. the average of 8 to 10 hours at a stretch it's best to start out from Pune at around 4 to 5 a.m since it's a long drive and travelling at night can be quite unsafe. I just checked and there are great packages for Goa available on tripoto itself do refer this link https://www.tripoto.com/goa/tour-packages/
