The ideal time has started. April to June is very good though July is not bad and then Aug-early October. just check the rains in July. you'd probably want to start from Kaza or you can go to keylong and start from there. Best of luck for a heavenly and humbling experience of these majestic mountains that due to their barrennes seem to change colors with the shade of the sunlight. With them on your sides as you criss cross the Spiti valley, and sparse villages in between, you can be assured of an experience of a lifetime..

There is not much to do in darjeeling. What I will recommend is there is a Riverside camp arranged by a guy. It was the best part visiting to darjeeling for us. Darjeeling is more of a town than tourist place. The camp is located in treveni which is near to darjeeling. Two major rivers (teesta and Rangeet) joins here. It's beautifull. The rate is around rs. 1500 per head and it is worth. I will share his number below Sanjeep

If you've never been there, I would say yes as flights are included in the trip along with accommodation and desert safari. That alone makes the monetary part worth it for me.
If you have a day , then Liseberg amusement park would be a great way to spend it... or you can visit Universeum science centre.
There is also a children's petting zoo that you can visit

Hey, have you tried unite strangers.. the website offers trips every weekend or one weekend in a month to travel with strangers at very reasonable charges. Last week they did a place called Yamkeshwar or something like that which is half an hour from rishikesh. they organize everything and prices are all inclusive, with Robert reading and other adventure sports etc included. worth a try i'd say.
It depends, if you want to stay in budget hotels then opt for old manali and the average cost per day to be 1k per night. Rest depends on which all places you want to explore

I have been to chopta 3 days back... there are no direct buses available to chopta, u can go this way...
1. bus /train to haridwar, reach haridwar around 3 a.m.
2. from haridwar bus stand(opp to haridwar junction) u have two choices: a. take a bus to gopeshwar(direct buses are available from haridwar early morning) b. take a bus till rudraprayag(almost all buses goes to rudraprayag), then take a bus/shared taxi to ukhimath. 3. As this tym not many tourists are there so its difficult to find shared taxis from ukhimath/gopeshwar so, u might have to book the taxi to chopta. I booked from gopeshwar it took ₹1500 return journey morning from gopeshwar to chopta then did trek till tungnath and then came back to gopeshwar in evening. Gopeshwar to chopta route is very beautiful with breathtaking views.
