Depends on what kind of adventure are you looking for. Trekking season is from sep to Nov. Then if you wana see the snowfall dec to feb is best time.

You stand a chance if you follow your dream with patience and perseverance and hard work by which I mean read and write a lot. for practice, you can even start with imaginary it childhood trips and write them down. Also take note of new developments and changes, both in the medium of writing with the advent of the internet age as well as the style and content for now you've blogging, vlogging, photo blogging and so on. Make sure that it is your passion, both, writing/photography and traveling. If it is, writing about your experience will come automatically. of course, please check out good travel writers and follow them both in tripoto and other sites and magazines as well. Yes roads are good there , you can easily enjoy. And In Rishikesh, Nainital, Dehradun, Massoorie all places easily accessible with car. Like Laxman Jhula, Neel garh waterfall in Rishikesh, Nainital lake, Bhimtal are good to see .

Brother you should travel through haaridwar than rishikesh and than you travel in the mountains of utrakhand through roads in self driven car you should bring a another good driver of car with you

Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam. Gulmarg will be nice to stay in midst of snow. You can plan your stay at srinagar for rest of the days and visit Pahalgam. Shared jeeps are also there.

Yes! Not a big issue. Himachal as compared to Uttarakhand is much safer during monsoons. But it also depends where do you plan to go. Places like Spiti or higher altitudes get a little risky.

Its Possibly not the best time as it will be on the verge if hitting monsoons! Hill Stations are best on seasons from March to Mid June!

UpvoteCommentYou can try somewhere close to the mountains in either Himachal or Uttarakhan. My personal recommendation for a solo trip would be Mcleodganj and Dharamshala, the town has a very warm vibe.

If the documents are all good it wont be that had. do try getting help of some agency like thomas cook.
