Hey Zainab, Take a State government bus or Volvo bus from Delhi to Manali. Don't book nay hotel online. After reaching the bus stand of Manali, you can get room in Rs500 for two persons at Mall road ( main central tourist area ). Budget tips for travellers : 1) Stay at cheap places like zostels, hostels ( www.hostelworld.com ) and dharamshalas 2) Always take sharing vehicles that local uses in that area or take the lift 3) Don't eat at fancy restaurants. Try local cheap items 4) Don't do any unnecessary shopping 5) Always bargain for the rates Places you must visit in Manali : 1)Solang Valley 2)Hadimba temple, Mani temple 3)Vashisht hot water springs 4)Jogini waterfalls, Rahala waterfalls 5)Gulaba 6)Rohtang pass ( closed in winters) 7)Bijli Mahadev trek 8)Skiing, Rafting, Paragliding Happy travelling!!!!!!!

The best way to save money is to take a red bus. Stay in one of the backpacker homestays, like C6 or if you are ok with shared rooms a dorm. Happy traveling!

Hi Zainab Take volvo from Delhi. I would also suggest you to go to old manali rather than manali. There you will get backpackers hostel. Stay there because they are cheap. Happy Journey Neha

Day 0: Catch a Volvo from Delhi for overnight journey to Manali. The one which reaches early should be preferred as you will have to get the required permit for Rohtang from Manali. Day 1: After reaching Manali get the permit to pass Rohtang pass, thereafter start your journey as soon as possible. It will be great if you can arrange for the permits one day before. This will help you save time and remove uncertainties because I'd you are unable to get a permit you might end up staying 1 day in Manali. If you can ride a bike, it is always good so that you don't need to worry about traffic jams. Start riding towards Rohtang pass, your destination for the day will be Chandratal. Day 2: Chandratal to Kaaza. Day 3: Kaaza - Kibber - Komic- Kaaza Day 4: If you can ride for straight 10–12 hours ride straight for Manali, else stay at Losar/ Chandratal. Day 5: if you rode till Manali yesterday enjoy your day at Manali, else reach Manali by evening and catch overnight Volvo for Delhi. Good Luck!! Happy Travelling!!
