May June as it starts this period only as after June end monsoon starts which leads to road blockage landslides etc making tough for travellers,

The best tym to visit there is in the months of may-june-july-august . the weather is moderate and you will find snow on mountain tops . keep sufficieent clothing with you because in night it goes 4-5 °c . it starts snowing in leh frm november-feb. and all the roads are closed

March to august anytime but yoh have to take medical.kit, torch, rope, safety gaurd and better have extra oil for your vehicle
