Hi, I sponsored my mother's trip to Leh last week by Kesari tours and travels. It was from Bangalore and costed around 58k per person including flights. 6D/7N. Flights are around 15k (Blr-Leh-blr), so the rest included hotel and camping stay, food, commute, and other expenses. She found it very well organized and convenient at all times. you could try them out. Or get an idea at the very least. Enjoy :)

Recently I complete this tour. during new year I was there.. If you going via Delhi, then book a bus through HPTDC (Himachal House ), an overnight journey from Delhi to Manali ( cost will be 1400-1500 per head.) getting off at Bhuntar on the way to manali, then take a local bus to Kasol. You can go for chalal trail, Rasol,Tosh, Pulga.. hotel cost will be 1000-1500 per day approximately.. from there book e cab to Manali will cost you 3000 for a cab..I would like to suggest you to stay at kanhal road side.. over all budget would be 15k approximately per head ( Delhi to Delhi) for 7-8 days..

I've been there many time and it is my favourite destination to relieve myself from stress. THE CHEAPEST you can go is from Chandigarh sec 43 bus stand take a normal HRTC bus to bhuntar.any bus which is going manali will go through bhuntar. so take a bus from there i think 26 is the pillar number where buses arrive.Service is good you can catch buses at anytime.in every half hour a bus is available. It will cost around 450 INR till bhuntar. almost a 9 hour journey. From bhuntar you cant catch another bus to kasol. It will be a local bus so be ready for conjusted atmosphere.COST -60.INR it will take 1hr 15 mins till kasol from bhuntar. EASY.COMFORTABLE.CHEAP STAY in chalal(a.village 30 mins from kasol)for.cheapest stay. 400-500 INR max HAPPY TRAVELLING MAN!!!

Hi Vinod I am travelling to Sikkim in a few days an it is the beginning of rainy season. Since the roads are not too great for excursions, August will be really a difficult time to move around in heavy rains. not even sure whether the excursions would be open for visit. Try to postpone your trip if possible to avoid heavy rains. the nearest airport is Bagdogra in West Bengal and you can take a cab to Gangtok which would be roughly 4-4.5 hours or alternatively, Bagdogra Airport has Helicopter Taxi which can fly you from Bagdogra to Gangtok in 35 mins flat but IXB to Gangtok is only at 14:30 hrs and Gangtok to IXB is only 11:30 hrs. and luggage limit is only 10kg per person for heli taxi.

Hey Hills in Himachal are safe during rains, you just need to avoid heavy rains. These areas are fine to visit Jibhi, Manali, Kasol, Dalhousie, Mcleodganj and Khajjiat. Other than that you can go for a day trek at Triund, Kheerganag, Brighu lake and Chandrataal lake.
