That will be great to visit Udaipur in this season. Winter is coming and you can have a good time there. For budget Transport, you can take State Transport buses, best for travellers. In Alwar and Udaipur, there are many budget hotels or guesthouses available. It really depends upon your budget actually. You can enjoy local food or street food there. Just be aware from thieves.
Have a look at my uploaded trips to Udaipur. we booked cab for all the places but you can also go for tuk-tuk / auto as it would be cheaper and if you are road trip savy then you can opt for bike rent as well, there are many bike rent shops, and I would recommend you to stay nearby picchola lake for amazing views and for healthy budget as well, since 4 of the sightseeing points are near to picchola Lake! hope it helps.
Hie,
India is full of Biodiversity nation. where you can enjoy the winter by visiting cold desert as well as snow fall of Kashmir. if you are looking for for winter adventure then you can visit to Kashmir, Sikkim, uttarakhand ( Badinath kedarnath path is probably closed in winter ). or you want to enjoy heritage and live forts then definitely you can visit to Rajasthan ( Jaipur, Jaisalmer, ajmer, Hajialidarga, jodhpur, udaipur.
If you want to stay at the top of the Kasol to enjoy splendid view of himalayas you can go for 11 /11 Bunker House. But you hav to hike about 15 min to reach . Bt it is worth to enjoy the majestic view of himalays in calm and quite atmoshohere with full of greenery, mountains and clouds. And it is quite cheap for the backpackers.
I would suggest to stay in Kalga Village at Shankar Cafe which is 1 hour away from Kasol. It really a beautiful place sorrounded by Lush Green Forest and Beautiful View of Himalayas. Kasol is now overrated and overpriced and more of a commercial place.
Sharjah stay is cheaper than dubai.
But in dubai itself, you can find cheap hotels in deira area. Deira is also know for cheap shopping streets.
If you have a plan to explore uae, i would recommend to stay in dubai as most of the wonders are in dubai. Sharjah to dubai and vise versa traffic is horrible from 6 to 10 am and 4 to 7 pm.
April to September is the best time to visit Ladakh. you can rent motorcycle in Delhi/Chandigarh/Leh itself depending on from where you want to start your travel.
Bhandardara Lake Camping is the best place to relax.. not so crowdy, just put on the tent by side of lake and start chilling..
Bring your music system with you.. play your favorite songs...
You can reach to Bhandardara from Mumbai by:
Train: CST/Dadar to Igatpuri station
from you can get a auto to reach Ghoti Village.
from Ghoti there are share sumo cars to Bhandardara.
or you can go by road...
Most roads to Ladakh, even in the end of April, usually remain closed due to heavy snow. Even though you can reach Ladakh by air, you may not be able to visit some of the most famous attractions in and around Ladakh due to unfriendly weather conditions. However, a staycation won't be out of question.
Andaman is purely an island type which has lots of water sports, which you cannot expect in Pondicherry. Visiting Pondicherry is like experiencing the culture, french buildings, seashore stay and local food. It's a budget trip.
There shouldn't be a doubt about this. If budget is not a concern, Andaman is far far better than Pondicherry (Puducherry). Pondicherry, according to me is a place where you can go and just chill on a budget. I would short similar places in following order:
1. Andaman & Lakshadweep
2. Goa (South Goa)
3. Kerela
4. Pondicherry
5. Mahe (Small and less traveled place.Although on the other side of India, it comes under Pondicherry)
You can visit a beating the retreat ceremony held at 16:15 in winters, after that you should go to the holy place golden temple, you can also visit Jallianwala bagh if you have some time left
For street food- Kake di Hatti, lotan ke kulche, non veg in old Delhi, fatehpuri kulfi near Chandni Chowk, dolma aunty Momo's, Khandani Pakode near sarojini nagar For restaurant- u can visit cp, Khan market, hauz khas, saket
There are many beautiful places around Dehradun. You may consider visiting Robbers Cave, Sahastradhara, Tapkeshwar and Bhatta falls.
Excursions include Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, Kanatal, Chakrata and Kempty Falls.
Happy Travelling 😊
