Day 1

Travellers looking for a memorable spot to mark their trip to the Spiti Valley must definitely head to Chicham Bridge. Opened in 2017 and situated at a height of 13595 ft above mean sea level, the bridge is Asia's highest bridge. The 113.83 metre long bridge is located above the Samba Lamba Nallah, a 1000 ft deep gorge. It connects the villages of Kibber and Chicham, helping reduce the journey between them by around 40 km.

Thanks to the height and its surrounding landscape, the spot is known to attract tourists and bikers looking to take some stunning photographs. The bridge also connects the Chandratal Lake, another tourist hotspot in the valley.
