For Bangalore to Kolkata by car trip, we planned to travel from Rajahmundry to Bhubaneswar on day 2. But made a sudden change in plan to see the famous Gopalpur Sea Beach of Odisha and stay there for a night.
Day 2 journey was very exciting, especially the view of Eastern Ghat was breathtaking between Rajahmundry and Vishakhapattanam. The road is good all the way till Gopalpur. But I would recommend not to take Chennai Srikakulam Highway to bypass Vizag. That road is not in good shape!
We enjoyed the evening at Gopalpur and had awesome seafood for dinner. The beach was very scenic during Sunset.
