Day 1

As I boarded the tiny Alliance Air 17-seater plane at Dibrugarh Airport, the excitement in my heart soared as high as the plane itself. The journey to Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh, was a dream come true, and the fact that the ticket cost me a mere 1.4k Rs was the icing on the cake. Little did I know that this adventure would become one of the most cherished experiences of my life.

I couldn't resist capturing every moment of this extraordinary journey, and my trusty camera was my constant companion. The detailed video I created, now available on my YouTube channel /Mandy Misra, serves as a timeless reminder of this fantastic trip.

After a breathtaking flight over the lush green landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh, we finally touched down in Ziro Valley. The tranquility and natural beauty of this place instantly enchanted me. Our first destination was the Blue Pine Hotel, where we checked in, looking forward to three days of exploration and adventure.

The enchanting landscapes of Ziro beckoned us, and we wasted no time in setting out to discover its wonders. Our first stop was Siikhe Lake, which held the distinction of being Arunachal's first artificial lake. We indulged in a serene boating experience, surrounded by the picturesque scenery of the valley. The crystal-clear waters mirrored the lush green hills, creating a scene straight out of a postcard.

Next on our itinerary was Seeh Lake, another remarkable artificial lake, meticulously crafted by the government to conserve water resources in the region. As we strolled around the tranquil shores, we marveled at the efforts made to preserve the beauty of Ziro.

Our journey through this mystical land continued as we visited the Sideshwar Nath Temple. This temple houses the world's largest natural Shiva Linga, standing tall at an astounding 25 feet. The intricate stone structure of Lord Shiva, Parvati, and Ganesha left us in awe of the rich cultural heritage of the region. ( Checkout my video on Ziro Tour Plan on YouTube/Mandy Misra)

We couldn't pass up the opportunity to explore the site where the Ziro Music Festival takes place every year. The very thought of this annual music extravaganza held in the lap of nature filled us with anticipation, and I made a mental note to return for this musical pilgrimage someday.

Our exploration also led us to several breathtaking viewpoints scattered throughout Ziro Valley. From these vantage points, we soaked in the panoramic views of the valley, surrounded by the majestic Himalayan peaks. Each viewpoint unveiled a different facet of Ziro's beauty, leaving us captivated by its diversity.

As my three days in Ziro Valley drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude for having the opportunity to experience this hidden gem of Arunachal Pradesh. The memories I captured in my video and the experiences etched in my heart will forever remind me of the magic that lies within the serene landscapes and rich culture of Ziro Valley. It was a journey of a lifetime, one that will continue to inspire my wanderlust and love for exploration.
