The current situation does not let us travel the world. So I took this as an opportunity to explore places nearby and scout for hidden gems and offbeat locations. I recently visited Mandaragiri Hill that houses the famous peacock feather shaped Pinchi temple, Mydala lake. There are 435 steps you need to hike to reach the hilltop. The view of the lake and Pinchi Temple from the top is amazing.

Distance from Bangalore: 75 KM (1.5-2 hrs drive)

You can reach here by your vehicle or by bus.

By Bus: Take any bus going towards Tumkur from Majestic Bus Terminal in Bangalore. Get down at Panditanahalli stop. Cross the road and walk 2.5 KM inside.

Entry to the area is free.

Let's travel through my stories.
