Mandaragiri hill is located in Tumkur district, around 70 km from Bangalore. There is a Jain temple on the top of the hill and dhyana mandira which resembles a bunch of peacock feathers on the foot of the hill. Also there is an idol of Chandranath Thirthankara next to dhyana mandira standing tall in the open space. Its good to visit either in the early morning or late evening , as you need to climb 500 steps. On the top of the hill there is an jain temple and a lake. View from the top is awesome where one can enjoy sunrise\sunset. There is a small shop , thunder coconut and sugarcane juice stall in hill foot. Its worth visiting Mandaragiri and enjoy the scenic beauty.

Along this one can plan for Devarayanadurga \ Madhugiri hills.
