Fat Fish

Post swimming, we came back to our room and got ready for lunch. We went to ‘Fat Fish’ restaurant which was very close to our apartment. It is a place on Arpora road and there is no other restaurant nearby. It had an average crowd and a captivating ambience. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with the service here, but the staff was quite patient to hear us. I enjoyed the crispy chicken, fish and cold coffee. They customised my coffee.

Fish & Beer is a match made in heaven and to experience the same, head to Fat Fish. A menu that includes cuisines from Goa and Konkan, the place is perfect for a laid-back afternoon. The restaurant is breezy because of the open gazebo that rightly justifies Goa as the sunshine state.Opening hours: 12noon – 6pm, 7pm – 12midnightCost: INR 200 to INR 800Must haves: Goan Fish Thali, King Fish Fry, Bira Beer

Approximate cost : Rs 800 for 2.  2. Ritz Classic , Mall De Goa. I absolutely loved the view , located on the way to Panjim , the window side has a stunning view of the mountains and sea. The food was mind blowing and I would do anything to go eat their reachedo shark and drink their sangria over and over again.
Luckily nothing bad happened and we reached Fat Fish safely. It was already crowded; all tables were occupied. We had to wait for around ten minutes to get a table. We ordered lots of sea foods and they were delicious. Do try their Modso Fish Fry, it's amazing. You can have Urrak (a Goan liquor) here too which is very hard to find in shops. We didn't take any risk and booked a cab from there which dropped us near our stay. It was over 10 but none of us were in a mood to go back home so we started roaming around. That night we truly realized how unsafe Goa is. Almost all the shops close by 10 and the streets become deserted after that and you will find only drunk bikers zooming past you at high speed. There were no police even in the populated crossings. I will strongly advice, never roam around the streets at night, there is high chance you will get run over by some drunk driver. One more free advice, if you want to buy drinks, do that on time. The liquor shops get closed by 10. Yes, you can buy drinks after that too, there are some super markets which sale liquor at night in black. Now stop worrying and start packing your bags :)Visit my profile for the next part.Follow me:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/vagabondonl9/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vagabond_online/Tumblr: https://www.tumblr.com/blog/vagabond-onl9Blog: https://vagabond93.wordpress.com/
