It is settled atop a hillock and is sprawled across an area of 32-acre. Its construction completed in the year 1893. Falaknuma Palace has a Palladian style of architecture. The palace, now a 5-star hotel by Taj, has maintained the grandeur of a royal lifestyle with horse-drawn carriages, grand staircases, and 60 regal suites and rooms. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is at a distance of 17 km from the palace. Falaknuma Palace offers a fine dining experience through its restaurant like Adaa and by serving meals at Gol Bungalow and Jade Terrace. Other services being offered include a landscaped pool and a fitness room. As the hotel strives to offer an unparalleled royal experience, Taj Falaknuma Palace entry fee is relatively high.
Day was good , I visited market place and other parts of city. But the best thing ever happened to me is i got invitation from "taj falaknuma palace" this is one the best palace property in India, and it was built by nizam of hydrabad , initially it was palace but taj is running a hotel there. I felt so royal , they sent a car to took us then from the outer gate of hotel to main entrance a golf cart took us. There we were welcomed and then we explored the hotel and move towards the restaurant , the service and food were so so so amazing. And that's how I explored the hydrabad alone it was a city travel and in these 4 days I explored almost every corner of hydrabad and even met from my old friends and made some new friends for life. Before this trip I was an "travel virgin" because I never traveled alone , and visiting hydrabad was the ultimate start of my solo journey. And this is how I lost my virginity in hydrabad.

The Japanese, Mughal and Rajasthani gardens add to its beauty. Impressively, the palace also features a huge library said to house one of the rarest versions of the Islam’s holy book, the Quran.

If there is one thing the Nizams got right, among various others, was their opulent lifestyle. Named for Mirror of the Sky, its cascading gardens, Venetian décor, and Europeans interiors transport you to the Renaissance ages. Fitted with marble flooring and facing the courtyard as the tradition demanded ages ago, the well-preserved luxury rooms here will make your squeal with delight. This palace is sure to take you back to Nizam Era, to its glamour and luxurious living.Price per night : Starting from INR 27500.
