Alibag 1/undefined by Tripoto

Alibag is a popular getaway, both in real life and reel Bollywood movies. Though its growth to a popular beach town is obvious and much deserved, the town sees a huge crowd throughout the year that gives you less time to explore the place on your own. There are tons of beaches here, the popular ones being Alibag beach, Nagaon beach, Versoli beach, Awas beach and others. Awas Beach is the quietest here and a stunning escape from the rush of tourists. If you want a break from beaches, though it seems unlikely, you can head to Kolaba Fort, which is close to Alibag beach. If you are in the mood for some adventure, there are numerous water sports that take place here and are a must do. There are also tons of hotels in case you are looking for a luxurious holiday since the hotels focus on a complete holiday package for travellers.

Our next stop was Alibaug beach, where we took a stroll, brought some beach food and then with all the cherished memories sealed, we left for Mumbai!Insights drawn from Aparajita's visit to Kashid with Mrigank, Himanshu, Anchal, Utpal and Saurabh.

We finally reached Alibag, our hotel was right on the beach of Alibag. After quick power nap, we were on the beach with full energy. Overlooking the beach right in front of us in the middle of the sea was a grand castle " the Kolaba fort" . The Kolaba fort was built by Shivaji Maharaj on 1652. Its located 2 kms into the sea at Alibag's beach.

After taking one pit stop at Alibag at a roadside dhaba named Ashirwad, where we quenched our hunger with some really nice food, we were headed to directly stop at Kashid only.We reached Kashid at around 4 in the evening where we had booked a tent to do Camping at Tanvi Guest House. My camp coordinator Bhavesh realised that i am looking for pictures for my blog took me and the entire group to this small hill from where we got this amazing view at the Sea and took pictures.
