Accessible only by boat upriver from Rio Dulce, there isn't that much to see in Livingstone. Still, with its unique Garifuna population (said to be descended from shipwrecked African slaves), and nearby waterfalls (the 'siete altares'), it makes a worthwhile visit if you have time.
