We then headed to the Avalanche Lake. This shore was accessible by car and hence more popular. It began to rain and so we headed back to Ooty.
Last place we visited in Ooty in next morning i.e., on Day 3 is Avalanche Lake. While travelling to Avalanche lake, there is another place Needle view point which is the most dangerous point. If you will loose your control, you will find yourself in valley. We also visited Raja Hindustani movie point also. But Avalanche lake is must visiting point if you will be in Ooty. Sweet voice of birds and peaceful sound of Nilgiri trees, at bank of Avalanche lake, we three friends planning for our next trip of the year Udaipur-Jaipur(as our theme of the year 2018 is 'Lakes & Palaces').
We spent the next day visitng a forest reserve called Avalanche. We bought our tickets and a bus took 15-20 people through the forest. It was mesmerizing.
On day 2 set up myself again for the same sight seeing person for 2ooo INR for taking me to upper Bhawani lake , Emerald lake and Avalanche lake. From there we went to coonor and the journey to coonor was an unforgettable one for me. Never forget to have a coffee on the way when you visit coonor from Ooty, the coffee at the shop called "ammas coffee".
