Jag Mandir

As the name says, this attraction is a palace located on an island. This island is a part of the Lake Pichola. Also known as Lake Garden Palace, it is one of the places to visit in Udaipur without any second thoughts. You can easily enjoy the picturesque look of the palace through boat rides in the Lake Pichola. A boat ride can also be continued from the City Palace to Jag Mandir Palace which will take around 30 minutes. Many popular weddings have taken place here which is quite an expensive affaire. There are gardens and courtyards that can be explored via a walking tour. The architecture is one of the many reasons you should consider a visit and if possible a stay. Do not forget to try the Indian delicacies in their restaurant.

Next morning we decide to take the boat ride at Lake Pichola. It was a very good experience. One of our roommates was accompanied by us. Boat dropped us at Jag Mandir. We explored the area of jag mandir. Clicked some photos And again after some time boat came to pick us up.After that, we decided to visit the famous Oberoi Udaivilas, luxurious hotel from Udaipur. We had little snacks and drinks there and took a tour of a beautiful hotel. It was our first experience to visit such a luxurious hotel.Film yeh Jawani hai diwani's some shooting precisely wedding sequences took place here.It was the end of our journey, next day morning we took a flight to Mumbai and came back home.It was not at all a planned trip. Planning took place a week before our trip. And yet it is a successful trip. my most favourite places are Jagannath temple and Gangaur ghat. These places have some good, positive vibes. We were searching for our stay and we found Banjara hostel here on tripoto. Overall Udaipur was a good trip. each place has its some goods and bads still 'Ek baar toh visit karna hi chahiye'.Here I'm posting some useful tips1. Bargaining is the key while hiring local transports, especially rickshas.2. Don't spend on fancy food, local food is far better.3. Hire bikes instead of autos4. Hire City palace tour guide, and request some people to make a group or ask a group if you can join.5. Take tickets for cultural show before 1 day.Pls, be there 10 min prior so you can take perfect place.6. Talk to locals and hotel people. They will guide you best than Google maps.7. December is the best season. Warm clothes are a must.
