Jantar mantar, Jaipur is one of the 5 architectural astronomical instruments built from 1724 and later by ruler of Jaipur Raja Sawai Man Singh. It is a monument of unique architecture which helps one to depict the eclipses, tracking stars' location as the earth orbits around the sun, ascertaining the declinations of planets, and determining the celestial happenings. This division of Jantar mantar is based on the design of the monument having same name which is built in New Delhi. It is one of the five Jantar Mantars' which are situated in different parts of the country India.
