Day 1

It was a short n quick trip.Yesterday night I just got a call from friend that tomorrow we are going to Bharatpur (place famous for bird sanctuary) i said yes we can. It was around 180 km from Noida Extension. So as usual we started early hours of this morning(7:00 AM is early 4 me 😢) Again we went through Yamuna expressway. Toll amount up to Bharatpur is around 440 INR (both side inclusive). We took our breakfast in shiva dhaba (tried n tested). Route goes via Mathura to Bharatpur. Route in expressway was absolutely brilliant but after coming out from xpressway we faced huge traffic up to Bharatpur(which is a small place adjacent to UP border but in Rajasthan). Bird sanctuary is situated in Keoladeo National park. This park has lots of wood n small ponds. Here park’s wood and man-made wetlands protect over 350 species of migratory and resident birds, including herons, cormorants and eagles.Entry fee for park is 75 INR per person (20 INR for students). Please note that no vehicle other than forest department’s vehicle are allowed in the premises. So one can go either via rickshaw(75 INR per person up to 2 hours) or via cycle(50 INR for one cycle up to 4 hours). I would suggest to go via cycle and surely you will njoy more, as u can stop anywhere and capture d nature as per ur own choice.(around 4-6 km one sided way for cycling), Inside the park we can see two or three temples. There r one or perhaps two canteens (government authorised) with limited food stuffs, so advice for person visiting the place is to bring their own food items n water bottles.Place is very much suitable for bird watching nd photography.Visiting hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00PM, and winter is the best suitable time 4 this place. So guys a one more outing place neaeby to Delhi NCR for short or weekend trips. 😀
