A Road less travelled, TIRTHAN VALLEY (HIMACHAL PRADESH)
We stayed at Riverside resort which is ike a small island between the river, reching to the resort itself was a splendid experience as you have to sit on a small pulley pulled manually by hand at both ends of the river. food was amazing & unbelievably cheap.Tirthan is for the people who think they have seen it all, which i am pretty sure will change there perception.took us 15 hours of straight self driven car to reach to our resort at tirthan, it could be a little confusing after you cross Aut as not many people are even aware of this place.we treck for aprox. 2-3 hours to reach a mind blowing waterfall with ice cold water. next day we travelled to jalori pass which is usually closed for few months due to heavy snowfall, but we were lucky enough to experience it as it was just opened a day before with a lot of snow still reamaining at the top. took a long way back as we stooped at Shimla on our way back to avoid a lenghty drive back home....
