A perfect monsoon getaway at shoe-string budget

Recently, I visited a quite distinct yet vividly beautiful place in the outskirts of Mumbai, known as Gautamvilla. It was referred to me as a resort, but honestly, with the immense dislike I have for these commercial resorts, I am glad to say Gautamvilla isn't one. It won't be an hyperbole, if I call this place "Home away from Home". The untouched beauty of nature and freedom to explore it, is the USP of this place, not to forget the humble staff and the service you receive.

This place camouflages itself with the needs of the people visiting it, you want to just chill with your friends over some booze- there you go, you want to have some peace alone- there you go, you want to have a lone time indulging in your hobbies of painting, reading, photography etc- there you go again; you wish to have a family outing - yes, you are right- there you go !!!!
