Recently, I visited a quite distinct yet vividly beautiful place in the outskirts of Mumbai, known as Gautamvilla. It was referred to me as a resort, but honestly, with the immense dislike I have for these commercial resorts, I am glad to say Gautamvilla isn't one. It won't be an hyperbole, if I call this place "Home away from Home". The untouched beauty of nature and freedom to explore it, is the USP of this place, not to forget the humble staff and the service you receive.
This place camouflages itself with the needs of the people visiting it, you want to just chill with your friends over some booze- there you go, you want to have some peace alone- there you go, you want to have a lone time indulging in your hobbies of painting, reading, photography etc- there you go again; you wish to have a family outing - yes, you are right- there you go !!!!
So if we share similar likes - I insist you all to visit this place for -
Nature and it's avatars (Pictures clicked here don't require filters!!)
Freedom (No check-in/check-out time..you see!!!)
Humble staff and interactive owner
Food (Ohh...it leaves you with multiple food-gasms!!!)
Best time to visit - Monsoon ( 150 plus waterfalls - Holy cow!!!)
It's located at Singapur ;)....hell yeah, you heard it right!!!
And all of this at a Shoe-string budget :)
