The journey started in 14th Aug 2019 evening, at 6:00pm where we boarded train from Secunderabad to Pune. We were a squad of 10 members which was a huge number for the trip. Initially, I was nervous about the trip till the train has started as there were alerts regarding the SOS alert of weather condition. We've researched each and every place in advance for the about the place for the safer side.

Day 1

Day 1

We reached Pune in the early hours at 5. To avoid delay, each and everyone got freshen up in the station. Since we've already booked the Zoom cars, we've reached the location around 8:00 am, and started our trip. The first destination to visit was Visapur fort ( TREK ). On the way, we've also visited Malavli Waterfalls. After 1 hour of journey from Malavli, we've reached Visapur Fort, which was an eye feast for each of one us. On the way, there was a halt at LONAVLA, to gain some energy and how could we miss VADA PAV and TANDOORI CHAI when visited Maharastra. The best companion for the Day 1 was the VADA PAV. Since, I'm a foodie, the first preference would be the food. The rainy climate, muddy roads, and the trek to the highest point of the fort, I'd name it as an adventurous life. Trekking to the highest peak ( 3356 feet ) is the most achievement I feel. But, as we say, there's always a surprise awaiting after an achievement and I've witnessed it. Such an amazing mini waterfall I'd say, with an amazing Greenery, and of course a wall with SRI ANJINEYA SCUPLTURE.

Ended up the trek by climbing down the fort within an hour, and headed for the dinner on the way to Mahabaleshwar and then resided at the OYO ROOM. It was kinda tough day for everyone as we trekked the hill right after journey, we've decided to take proper rest. And that's how we ended up with trek and it's the best part of trip.

Day 2

Day 2

A beautiful view makes your day much pretty and scenic view just stole my heart. I wish to settle there for few months but that isn't possible. Haha... Started the morning with breakfast POHA and a hot cup of tea, and we headed to LINGMALA WATERFALL. No wonder we say INCREDIBLE INDIA when we have such a beautiful scenic.

The path to visit this waterfall is much like a shooting spot with greenery on one side and waterfall on the other where the clouds pass over you. How could someone miss this place. Clicking images of the place cannot complete the trip, instead we must feel the view. Though it might sound weird, but I can't get over it. The prettiest place to visit in MAHABALESHWAR where in you'd feel the nature. Post the visit, we've visited the nearby market where the strawberry wines are quite famous. The place would justify the word " HILL STATION " . Do taste DABELI and fudge as it's famous over there. Also, you must also try for the strawberry milkshake which is made with frozen strawberries, where in it gives you the real taste of the strawberry. Hence, I'd say it was one amazing day I've spent.

One of the best spot to visit in Mahabaleshwar, the elephants head point. Nature is love and it also symbolizes the animals in it. From the point, towards east, you'd find another waterfall. Every place you visit, there should be some interesting stuff. Similarly, this place has it and it's the horse ride. No one would imagine riding a horse on the hill point, it was adventurous. There's something much interesting after the visit which none of us expected. The alternative route from lonavla to mahabaleshwar. It's the route with waterfall on one side and Hill top on the other side. We've almost travelled 30 to 50 km but I'd say it as land of waterfall.

Day 4

Since it was the final day of the trip, we've decided to end up with devotion. As the name itself says " PANCHGANGA " , Inside the temple, we can see a mouth of cow(go mukh) made of stone, where water flows from it. And it's the source of 5 river- Gayatri, Sawitri, Koyana, Venna and Krishna. Once you step out of the temple, you'd find few food stalls, and you must try miselpav, it's amazing. Also there's one interesting way from Mahabaleshwar, it's the perfect spot for photo shoot. We reached Pune by evening 4, handed the cars to the respective owners and boarded the bus and reached safely.
