we had planned a trip to uttarakhand which got cancelled due to cloud burst at the very last moment, stranded on the delhi airport we decided to travel to my cousins place in chandigarh and had no clue what to do or where to go.finally we decided to take my cousins bike and leave chandigarh without any clue where to travel to.
we were supposed to stop at rampur once we left from chandigarh early morning at 7 am, but instead we decided to travel a little further and and stay at sarahan which was a preety good decision considering the scenic beauty of the place.

once we left sarahan we directly travelled to chitkul ,which is the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border. The Indian road ends here. During winters, the place mostly remains covered with the snow and the inhabitants move to lower regions of Himachal. Potatoes grown at Chittkul are one of the best in the world and are very costly
After our two day stay at chitkul , we left for kalpa which is about 62 kms from chitkul!Kalpa is a small town in the Sutlej river valley, above Recong Peo in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh
Finally we left from kalpa to chandigarh to complete our 7 day epic and most spontaneous bike trip. for all those who want to travel but cant due to their busy schedules or commitments, i would advise you to live a little and travel little more... we were not sent to this big rock only to stay at one place! travel and explore a little new about yourself as you explore new places...
