Covid 19 restrictions across Rajasthan!

With India reeling under the challenging third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, states have imposed various restrictions. These are directly impacting tourists from within India and abroad. It is advisable to check for directives by state governments before venturing into trips either for business purpose or leisure.

With massive surge in cases in Rajasthan, the Government has announced closure of schools in urban areas, Sunday curfews, time limits on markets and a cap on occupancy at restaurants and movie theatres. Curfew has been imposed for the period between 11pm on Saturdays and 5 am on Mondays. During this curfew period, all markets, workplaces and commercial complexes will remain closed. IT and e-commerce, chemist shops, marriage-related services, emergency services, bus stands and railway stations, and health services are exempted. All religious places will remain open till 8 pm, but offerings like garlands, prasad, chadar and other things are banned. Rajasthan government has also allowed booster dose of Covid Vaccine for healthcare and frontline workers.

While intrastate travel is unregulated, there are specific guidelines to be adhered to with respect to interstate travel:

• Travellers need vaccination certificate (2 doses) or negative RT-PCR report (not older than 72 hours). Passengers not in possession of negative RT-PCR or final vaccination certificate shall be denied boarding at the airports.

• Symptomatic passengers at airports shall be isolated and taken to nearest health facility

• All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu app.

• Passengers must wear a mask at all time during the journey

• Passengers travelling to Udaipur are mandatorily required to upload a copy of their RT-PCR negative report on http://emitra.rajasthan.gov.in
