Durga Puja or popularly known as Pujo in the East, comes in every year around. Its the time when all the homes and pandals welcome Goddess Durga in their vicinity. Its the time when everyone is in a festive mood as it marks the beginning of a number festivals to follow. Its the time when we realize that however strong the evil forces become, good will always find a way to defeat. It is the time when we realize the power every woman posses, we realize that even Gods turned to Maa Durga to kill the powerful Asur , Mahishasur when all their efforts went in vain against him and his army. It is the time we realize that women should be given the respect and the honor they truly deserve, because in the end , Naari Shakti is a force to reckon with.
We all know all these things. But do we know what happens before this? Do we know how the Goddess we see in her full beauty and glory reaches to that form? Do we know how four very common elements that we find and see in our everyday life come together to take the shape of a powerful deity which is worshiped in every home ? Well, lets just find out !

Artist from Bengal travel across the country during the time of Durga Puja as they are considered the best in class when it comes to making the idol. So they go, leaving their homes, their families, their comfort, to a foreign land. Are they really happy to do this or is it just the grind for survival which forces them ?
When all this is done and dusted, it is time for the Goddess to grace their new homes for the next 9 days or 5 days, depending on the tradition. They stay there, bless the people and then after 9 days, go back to where they come from.
