On our way to Colombo, Sri Lanka from Mirissa Beach, we made a pit stop at Galle Fort. The fort of of historical importance and has heavy Dutch and Portuguese influenced buildings. The sky here is as blue as it gets and the water is gorgeous blue and green too! Some popular stops here are the Clock tower and the Lighthouse.

Then in Colombo, we just spent the day roaming around some shops and shopping. Barefoot is a designer store and had stunning colorful stuff in there. It was very pricy though. It also has a café with really cool vibe and one can have lunch there when shopping at Barefoot. The other place we went to was House of Fashions and boy! Branded things were super cheap here.

I have a travel blog and a 10 Days in Sri Lanka Itinerary as well on – www.froogalfun.com. Refer to it for lots of travel stories and itinerary. And watch this space for detailed travel vlog from each of the locations we visited while in Sri Lanka. This is a Best of Sri Lanka Post which I wanted to initiate the Sri Lanka travel vlog series with.
