Fly to launceston airport. We had pre booked a log cabin in discovery lodge in cradle mountain. We drove for 3 hours to reach the place.
We woke up early and went to queenstown for the vintage train experience. On way back, we saw the horse tail waterfall
Visit cradle mountain national park. Take small trails along amazing view. Tasmania devil feeding can be done outside the park. See lot of wallabies, pademelone, wombat on the way.
Drive to Hobart via Sheffield, Labratose. Stop by the cheese, chocolate factory.
Take a day trip from Hobart to the oldest forests. With Smell of eucalyptus in air and sound of flowing waters, you feel one with nature. Dont miss out thr Russell waterfall.
Load the car in ferry and visit Bruny island. Go for the cruise, watch the seal in the interior of the blue pristine waters. Visit the light house, which is the last patch of land before the south pole.
Go for day trip to Roseny, Richmond and wine bay.
We were lucky to see the weekly flea market or Salamanca !! The spirit of Tasmania in one place.. art, music food, clothes.. do not miss this one.
If you are a nature freak, the royal botanical garden in Hobart is the place to go!! You can also spend a day at MONA (museum on the theme of sex and death).
