It was my first day at Pantwari village, Uttarakhand. after an overnight journey from Gurgaon reached there in the early morning. People of the village are very kind and helpful, a shop was open at around 5 am and that shop keeper helped us to find a place to stay for a couple of hours, also, arranged a guide for the trek.
After a power nap and breakfast we started our trek, we planned to stay on base camp on the first day and the distance from Pantwari village to base camp is around 3 Kms, luckily clouds helped us to move forward fast and we took around 1.5 hours to reach the base camp.

In this picture I was getting excited after looking at the summit, the snow was shining over the green trees and the view was spectacular.
