The Brunch Odyssey at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore was one of the best brunches I've had to date! This special Sunday Brunch featured four remarkable chefs from the Marriott Bonvoy kitchens:
- Chef Imran Arif, The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore showcasing the very best of Northwest Frontier cuisine from the in-house restaurant, Riwaz
- Chef Matteo Arvonio, JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru highlighting Italian treats to your plate in India
- Chef Saiful Agam, JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa, bringing ‘Seoulful’ cuisine from Asia and
-Chef Rungtiwa, Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center sheding light into the wonderful authentic flavours of Thai cuisine. Each chef brought forth a spectacular array of food together in a brunch that you’ll never want to end.
But that’s not all. The food at the Brunch Odyssey also showcased the very best of The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore’s other restaurants. The talented team of chefs led by Chef Anupam Gulati, created masterpieces that not only looked beautiful, but also taste divine. Right from the salads to the desserts there's so much to choose from, one brunch is not enough! The plating is gorgeous as well - the beautifully glazed breads, the Salmon shaped like a rose, the pretty Charcuterie Board, the desserts shaped like fruits and the authentic flavours from the North-west Frontiers, South East Asia, Italy created by each of the chefs whom you also get to interact with at the Brunch Odyssey. The interactive elements added to the experience, as you get to learn about the ingredients, the cuisine and the dishes while also getting your fill of some tasty delicacies.
Why you should try the next Brunch Odyssey
The brunch comprises an endless list of cuisines that extend to every corner of the world. If you want to try something new or go back to a favourite from a beloved holiday, it's all here and served with authentic flavours, fresh ingredients and marvellous craftsmanship. It’s also the perfect way to spend time with a large group of loved ones who might each have a different palate. Whether you’re dining with children or older parents, the brunch has something for everyone, leaving everyone fulfilled and yearning for larger stomachs to be able to fully enjoy the seemingly endless brunch.
Dishes you must try at the Brunch Odyssey
While it's hard to pick favourites, some dishes that you must absolutely try are:
• Khanom Bueang by Chef Rungtiwa , a delicious Thai dessert filled with coconut
•Galouti Kebabs by Chef Imran Arif that are little bites of heaven
• The black truffle mushroom mousse by Chef Matteo Arvonio - it's a unique dessert that makes you realise that two very different flavours are actually a match made in heaven
•The array of dim sum, sushi and Korean Gimbap, Kimchi and more by Chef Saiful Agam that give you a special appreciation of Korean culture well beyond K-dramas and K-pop.
Truth be told, you should try everything but you'll need a gigantic appetite for this because the portions are wholesome and everything is mouth-wateringly delicious. There's also unlimited cocktails, beers and mocktails to go with your brunch.
