I am thinking of travelling solo. This is the first time that I am going on a trip, that too solo, what are your suggestions and recommendations? I live in Kolkata, so to what place should I go on a trip?

You can plan for Nainital and Corbett Quite good for solo trip

For your first trip i would recommend North East. Since you are from Kolkata you will have a language advantage, it will be near to your place so you will have better control over the things

Basis the duration of the trip you can go to meghalaya and arunachal. Bhutan would be a good option for 6 days. For a shorter trip there is pondicherry or coorg or Ooty.
