upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Shashwat, that's a very adventurous trip you are planning. If you start from Indore you should take first halt at Jhansi, it should take approximately around 10-11 hours for this drive. Next stop should be Gorakhpur, Jhansi to Gorakhpur will take 10 hour again. On the last segment of your roadtrip you should drive from Gorakhpur to Kathmandu which will take approximately 9 hours. Good luck for you roadtrip.

Hey there, Your route Guwahati-Shillong-Cherapunjee-Tyrna-Nongriat First you need to reach Cherapunjee, from there you can take the daily local bus that runs from Cherapunjee to Tyrna (except on Sunday). Tyrna is 12 kms away from Cherapunjee and is the getaway to Nongriat village. From there ask the locals for directions to the stairs that leads to the Nongriat village. There is no roads, only stairs more than 3000. Very enduring and an adventurous trek. Happy Travels!

Jodhpur and jaisalmer
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Rajasthan is filled with beautiful forts and palaces. If you want to visit Jaisalmer, which is 12 hour long journey from Jaipur by train, then you must visit the Jaisalmer Fort which is at the heart of the city and inside the fort is another small city where you can spend the whole day! Then comes jodhpur, Jodhpur has the beautiful Mehrangarh Fort which is again huge and will take you at least a day to see it properly. Jodhpur has another palace which is very beautiful. Umaid Bhavan Palace, but only 1/7th of the palace is open for tourist while the rest of it is a heritgae/luxury hotel. Udaipur city palace is also good, but I loved Jodhpur much better. Jaipur has the Amer fort and Nahargarh fort which are phenomenal as always.

You can hire scooter and manoeuver around, cheapest option there ;) if you are solo you can hire scooter taxis called Jo-Jeks and go from place to place. If you travelling in a group then blue bird taxi service is going to be your best option. Note, Jo-Jeks are not available in all areas in Bali and make sure you check your minimum fare while opting for blue bird taxi its mostly 7000 IDR. In my opinion scootering around is best option;)
