Kerala offers myriad hamlets and getaways that can form an ideal vacation. You can start your days with a cinematic sunrise at the beaches of Alleppey, Kovalam or Varkala. Surf their topaz waters, and have steaming idlis for breakfast. To get a glimpse into Kerala’s heritage, take a walk through the forts of Anjengo in Varkala, Bekal in Kasaragod and the Koyikkal Palace in Thiruvananthapuram. If you are looking to escape the heat, head to the forested hills of Munnar, Wayanad, Thekkady and Vagamon. These hamlets are known over the world for their coffee, tea, spice, and rubber plantations. Among the more active things to do in Kerala, a trek through the Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary, in search of the rare Nilgiri tahr, and one through the Periyar reserve for a herd of elephants, should definitely not be missed. Also, while you are here, make sure to catch a snake-boat race, a Kathakali play or an extravagant temple festival, such as the Pooram Festival in Thrissur. It's a bit of a grey area where some people are saying that an RT-PCR is needed, some are saying it's only for symptomatic patients. I'd recommend you get your test done regardless to stay on the safer side.

Himachal tourism is largely popular for the forever-favourite, picturesque cities of Shimla, Manali and Dharamshala but the state is slowly garnering popularity for a number of hidden gems as well. The highly recommended idyllic towns of Jibhi, Naddi, Dharamkot and Sangla are loved by trekkers and nature lovers, and are a huge contributor to the increasing number of offbeat travellers and in turn Himachal tourism. Himachal Pradesh is a dream destination for adventure enthusiasts. Dotted with umpteen trekking trails and paragliding spots, it packs in a bundle of thrilling activities for enthusiasts. Bir and Billing, close to the city of Dharamshala, is considered to be the best site for paragliding in northern India and is a huge attraction for Himachal tourism! Manali, on the other hand, is a favourite with adventure enthusiasts as a base for some of the best and most difficult treks, as well as for river rafting. When you have two or more flights one after the other and if you have booked these flight separately, it’s called a self transfer. If you have two or more reservation numbers, it’s a self transfer. If you paid for these flights separately, it’s definitely a self transfer. Sometimes it might be hard to distinguish the two, self transfer and airline transfer. For example, some providers allow you buy several flights as a single booking. But if you look at the boarding passes, you’ll see that each one of them has their own reservation number or so called booking reference. That means it’s a self transfer. Mostly flight search sites tell it somewhere, if it’s a self transfer. When you buy flights from several airlines, it's going to be a self transfer.
