Hey, Manali to Leh is approximately 450 to 500 kms. Break this journey in 2 days. First day - Drive from Manali to Jispa. Stay overnight in Jispa. Second day - Complete the remaining stretch from Jispa to Leh. Start your journey as early as possible. Avoid riding/driving post sunset. There are camping options available in Jispa. Thank you !

You need to go on solo.trip or solo trekking? If solo trekking then it is little complicated. You need basic Knowledge and skills for trekking solo. You should be able to read a map, you should be able to know how to use compass, you should be able to build your own tent and to make your own food. When you are in Mountain and when you are alone you need to take care of many things. You will have to build your tent near a water source. If your trekking above 10000 ft you have to take care of Ams also. And all this efforts will always be worth when you will be in Mountains. Enjoy and trek safe .
