We were a group of four college friends and we had put up at Villa Kairos near Muthialpet market. It is a beautiful heritage property that gives you an old world charm of colonial Pondicherry along with all the modern amenities at a reasonable price. You can find them on Airbnb . Our host was really cordial and helped us plan our trips in Pondicherry. I am attaching their Airbnb link below : https://www.airbnb.co.in/rooms/27919215?source_impression_id=p3_1581292800_Z9Z%2FhFz0aH%2BdU6vE
Hi Sakshi, If you're looking for a luxury hotel, I would suggest La Villa where rooms cost about Rs 14,000 onwards. A mid-range hotel that you are sure to like is La Chateau, which is absolutely beautiful. Rooms here cost around Rs 5,000 and up. You can even try Treebo Red Lotus Heritage Hotel where a room will cost you about Rs 2,700. If you're looking for a good hostel, I would recommend Micasa Hostels. Hope this is helpful! Have a wonderful trip :)
Hey Anshul, To visit Thachi Valley from Manali, take a bus to Aut, from where you will find a direct bus to Thachi Valley going via Balichowki. You can even take a private / shared cab from Aut for your journey onward to Thachi. Hope this helps!

Its better that you book atleast a day before going there. There are many good hostels but in personal experience, I'll suggest you U.R.D.KI hostel (Anjuna) - This one is definitely the best hostel in Anjuna. Others are- Bedrock Boutique hostel (Baga), The Jungle hostel (Vagator).
Hello Rohan !
Firstly kiddos that you are actually thinking to explore areas around you all by yourself. There are multiple places you can visit near Mumbai. If you are planning just a single day trip then I would suggest you go for any camping or something. This will even help you in meeting new people and actually explore the excitements and possibilities of traveling solo. If you do have time and thinking of spending 2-3 days, do visit areas around coastline like Tarkarli or Malvan. You can even visit Nashik and enjoy your day at Sula Vineyard.
Do let me know if this is helpful in any way. !! Good luck !
