It's by flight to port Blair. then by ship to Nicobar. Or you can take ship from Vizag. however the journey is not easy as the waters are turbulent and if you suffer from motion sickness,it will be difficult. also it's quite difficult to go to Nicobar as there are very dangerous tribes living there. one needs to be careful.

Hey when are you planning your trip? If you are a rustic lover then you should just skip bangkok and visit only pattaya,chiang mai and phuket. Bangkok has one of the best night life, so if you want to go and just have fun to the core, then even a week in bangkok would suffice

If u haven't been to thailand before then u should stick to bangkok and pattaya.... start with bangkok.... food : central food court called loft... condoms and cabbages. sukhumwit. yellow chilli. soi 11 sukhumvit. u can go to the food arena outside platinum mall. nightlife.... if u want to party with the local thai crowd and expats u should go to RCA ...its a one km stretch full of bars and nightclubs.. if u want to party with the tourist. go to levels , soi 11 , go to grudge. it's amazing. go to the sky bar. u can go to khao San road , near the river side. pattaya is too small. walking street , shopping and ofcourse. Ripley's and stuff
