It is. Goa is the most beautiful place to visit during monsoons. It will be worth an experience. However, if you want to indulge in water sports, you need to opt for some other period since water sports activities are closed during monsoon.

Go to Shillong and Cherrapunjee and if you have time Mawlynnong. You have to fly into gauhati and hire a transport car to shillong. You can find then at the airport (you can go on shared basis or hire the whole car for 2k or 2.5k.

August isn't good time for Derahdun..Monsoons will be there.. I think Middle of October would be a good time for Derahdun Mussouri..

May to mid july is the best for bike riding from manali to ladakh .coz after july there is a chant of land sliding and heavy rainfall and before may road are closed due to snowfall.
comming to budget .it will be covered under 55k_60k.
bike rent are available at manali or also in ladakh.

AnswerWishlistOctober to February is the winter season and is considered to be the best time to visit Manali if you like the cold and January is best to enjoy the chilly pleasure of fresh snowfall. The temperature drops down below zero degrees Celsius. Summer in the region starts in the month of March and lasts till June.

Instead of Going to Crowded town Darjeeling u can try below options.. Option 1 Siliguri to Mirik - Stay at Tourist Lodge operated by WBTDC then go to Sandakphu Via Maneybhanjan , Chitrey, Tumling, Gairibas, Kalapokhari, U have to hire a Land Rover or Thar from Maneybhanjan and It will take 4 hr to reach Sandakphu.. It will be a life tym journey with Pure raw form of nature , u will cross Sangalila National Park I'm between.. From Sandakphu u can view all 7 peaks of Himalaya on a sunny day...half of Sandakphu peak falls in Nepal n half part is in India.. stay at Sherpa Chalet in Sandakphu in between u can stay at Tumling or Kalaphokhari also in a home stay.. Home stay at Kalaphokhari is better than any hotel or resort.. view is awesome.. Option 2 :
Siliguri to Kalimpong stay at Arcadia Vacation Cottage.. it's a farm house spread in 3 Acres visit Lava, Lolegaon , Rishop n Rimbik Lolegaon stay at Lolegaon Nature Resort of WBTDC Option 3 Jhandi - stay at Jhandi Eco Huts
